What this site knows about you.

Nothing, unless you sign up or plan a trip. offlock.vimabrosta.com is static HTML, CSS and JavaScript served from one origin. It loads no third-party scripts, fonts, pixels or embeds, sets no cookies, and runs no analytics. The reader map on the front page runs entirely in your browser.

If you use the live route demo

When you start it, the map loads street tiles from OpenFreeMap. Those requests carry only the tile coordinates of the area you look at, like any web map. The addresses you type and the pins you drop go only to our own server, which asks a routing engine and a geocoder on your behalf; your IP address never reaches them, and we keep neither the addresses nor the routes. Results are cached in memory for an hour by their coordinates so repeated requests are cheaper, and nothing is written to disk.

If you sign up

The form sends your email address, the programs you ticked and, if you typed one, a city to our sign-up endpoint. That record is stored once, keyed by your address, and used only to send you Offlock updates and beta invitations. It is never sold, shared or joined with anything else. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe, which deletes the record.

Hosting

The host that serves these files keeps standard access logs (IP address, requested path, user agent) for a short retention period for security and capacity purposes. We do not process those logs for analytics.

The app

The Offlock app has its own, longer privacy design: no account, no location history, no advertising or tracking SDK, and a network activity log that shows every request the app makes. The summary is on the main page.
